Toddler Programme
Age range 18 months – 2.5 years
Adult/child ratio 1:5
Care is available for toddlers 18 months – 2.5 years of age with a ratio of one staff for every five children at our Sinclair location in Whitby and Pine Ridge location in Pickering. Our well-trained staff offer a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment and a programme filled with activities designed for the curious and always learning toddler. The curriculum areas are, Listening and Talking; Physical Activities; Creative Activities and Learning from the World.
The staff assist the children by encouraging social interactive play; they provide guidance and encouragement of self-help skills; help the toddlers learn to identify their emotions and encourage the children to express themselves verbally.
The child’s day is discussed with parents on a daily basis at pick-up and drop-off or parents are free to call throughout the day.
